Velorapida presented in Paris the VeloPlus range: the e-bike you recharge while pedaling.

Milano, November 11^th, 2014 | Pedalling with the support of an electric motor without recharging the battery, a dream of many, is today possible.

The new e-bikes range by Velorapida called VeloPlus was launched on November 6th at the Italian Embassy of Paris. The occasion was a chic one: the event “Creation, Italian artistic genius and its uniqueness in the métiers d’art”.

E-bike regenerative braking but not only: VeloPlus represents a new concept of vehicle. Looking as a traditional and elegant bicycle, it hides a sophisticated electric system able to read and manage the physical strength. This way helps to optimize the efficiency of the “human motor”, providing assistance when it’s more needed and recovering energy in excess when pedalling is efficient.

Entirely manufactured in Italy, VeloPlus adopts the Bike+ technology by ZeHus: the innovative all-in-one system integrates electric and electronic components in the rear hub of the bicycle, in an elegant way.

VeloPlus represents the perfect synergy between man and machine.

VeloPlus can be activated with few pedal strokes and it can be easily controlled with a smartphone application, connected to the Bike+ hub via Bluetooth. This app allows the cyclist to select and monitor the speed and to measure the power generated by himself and by the motor.
